Global Action in Healthcare Network Antimicrobial Resistance Module (GAIHN-AR): is a global network coordinated by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that seeks to prevent and contain the spread of highly resistant organisms in healthcare settings through real-time communication and coordination of laboratory and infection prevention and control (IPC) activities. 
 

CRO

REDCap is a secure, reliable, and flexible web-based platform designed for building and managing databases used in clinical and research studies.


In collaboration with CLEO, which is certified as a Clinical Research Organization (CRO), REDCap supports high-quality research by enabling simultaneous data entry from multiple sites and collaborators. Each site has access only to its own data, ensuring full confidentiality and robust data protection.

Reducing Antimicrobial use and Nosocomial INfections in KIDS: A European Network (RANIN-KIDS)

RANIN-KIDS Network was founded in Athens, Greece, in March 2018, in collaboration with the European Society for Paediatric Infectious Diseases (ESPID) and ESGAP, the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID) Study Group for Antimicrobial stewardship.

Ilektra Balatsou is a dynamic and multifaceted member of the CLEO research team, combining extensive clinical experience as a nurse with specialized academic background in Public Health and Special Education. She is a PhD Candidate at the School of Medicine of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), enhancing her methodological training.
